Thank you for visiting my sites. You can also add my guestbook.
I was stationed in Berlin, from 1976 to 1979. I remember the Whitehorse, Big Eden, Tripehaus, Riverboat, Nashville, and many many more clubs from that era.
I would love to go back for a visit since the Wall has come down. Anyone that wishes to go over old times, I am avaliable.

I was stationed in Germany in 1961, and was put on alert and sent to Berlin when they closed the borders and began building the wall.
I never thought it would be possible to see that wall removed in my lifetime. Thank God for sane minds and my longetivy.

I worked for the NAAFI in the mid eighties and did two weeks holiday relief in Berlin. I managed to write my name on the wall and give two fingers to DDR border guards.
Lots of good memories, I hope to visit the reunited Berlin in the future.

I was stationed in West Berlin in the mid-1980's. The Wall was a constant reminder of the differences between East and West. My husband and I visited in 1991 after the Wall had come down.
What a change! I love Berlin and can't wait to return again.

What a fantastic site. I used this to educate my children. I tend to relate the
wall to today's issues with immigration and borders.
My question. . .what would Jesus do?

I am searching for children from the West who, between 1962 and 1989, crossed
the Berlin wall/checkpoint to visit their families in East Berlin. This is a
great site, and it could serve as a good place for us to share and collect
memories. Contact me.

I stood on top of the wall with thousands of others late into the night of
November 9, 1989 and I remember the excitement and disbelief as if it were
yesterday... It would be great to share memories with others who were also there

I think that story of the fall of the Berlin wall is one of the most
inspirational stories that I have ever heard during my visit to Berlin, it's
made me want to know more and I'm learning from your site. Thank you.

A friend brought us a piece of the wall from a trip he took in '89. Our son (1st child) was born in '89,
so it will go to him. He's using it and info from your site to make a verbal presentation at school.

My 15 year old is doing a detailed report on the wall for his world history class and this site has been very helpfull.
I was there in 74 and 75 and got a piece of the wall while a guard in a tower was pointing a gun at me during the process.
I was also lucky enough to get to fly the permiter of the wall and flew over Spandow while Hess was taking a stroll so it brings it all back by being able to see your pictures and the timelines documented on your site.Thank you.

My friend Viola and I were visiting Berlin with a group of over 40 people from
different countries. We are from Corpus Christi, Texas. We found the wall very
interesting since it was torn town, now it has some nice looking murals. Which
is an asset to the wall. We also took pictures for our rememberance of the
visit. Thank you,
