I WAS STATION IN GERMANY FOR 20 YEARS WHEN THE WALL WENT UP AND CAME DOWN.MY FRIENDS JIM WHITE AND JOHN DUNN WHO STILL LIVES IN BERLIN WAS IN GHARGE OF THE CHECK COMMUNICATIONS REQUIREMENTS.
MY FRIEND JOHN AND I WENT TO EAST SIDE WHEN THE WALL WAS UP ITS WAS LIKE BLACK AND WHITE,MY FRIEND JOHN AND I DID A FOLKS MARCH AROUND THE WALL IN BERLIN CITY A TIME I WILL NEVER FOGET.
BOTH MY FRIENDS WIFES ARE FROM BERLIN.

I work for a former East Germany who was shot when he came across the wall to West Germany and fled to Mexico .
Also I was in the Main Street Buffet in Old Down Town las Vegas Nevada U.S.A. they have segments of the real wall and pictures .
I feel part of history there.

My dad was stationed in Berlin, and we lived there 1979-1981.
I will never forget our time there.
We did see the wall and I was saddened by it and the people who lived on the other side who were seperated from loved ones.

I was station in Germany from 1958 until 1963 and was in Berlin and saw the initial building of the wall. A time never to be forgotten. I witnessed acts that will stay with until the day I die.
