I ran across a posting from a fellow who was also stationed at the 279th Station Hospital (USAHB) in Berlin, circa 1962-65.
I\'d like to get in touch with him, but can\'t locate his posting, nor can I get anything from google. If you read this, contact
please.
I think we know each other.

I served in Berlin from 1962 to 1965 and was part of that history. I stood in review for President Kennedy and heard his \"ich bin ein Berliner\" speech. I\'m proud to have taken part in this historic period

I was in Berlin with the U.S. Army from Nov 77 to Nov 79 and Sep 81 to Sep 85. I was with CSC Co 5th BN 502nd Inf, Scout Platoon.
My section conducted patrols of the Berlin Wall within the American sector. We were some hard working young people who took our jobs seriously,
and will always be part of a unique piece of history.

I met and married my husband while we were both stationed at Berlin, Germany. He worked at Checkpoint Charlie and I worked at Checkpoint Bravo from 1982-1988.
We have a lot of pictures and artifacts. We loved it and our two children learned a lot about freedom. We were in the 287th MP Co.
